a. Forfeit time is game time.
b. A team must start and finish a game with no less than 7 players.
c. Game will consist of 6 innings or 1-½ hours. 5 innings will constitute a complete game.
d. Base distance will be 65 feet and pitching mound is 46 feet.
e. Three outfielders will be used.
f. On play to any base, runner on third can go home.
g. Base runners may not lead off, but will be allowed to steal once the ball crosses the plate.
h. Stealing will be allowed. (Hit or walk)
i. Infield fly rule will be observed
j. Runner must slide on close play at plate
k. Any pitcher hitting tow batters in one inning must be replaced on the mound
l. Home team will keep the official book and sit on the 3rd base side
m. A pitcher will be allowed to pitch 6 innings per week. Three innings per game. Week begins on Monday. Three outs equal 1 inning, so a pitcher is allowed 18 outs
n. Starting pitcher may return once
o. All players present must be placed in the batting order and will be required to play a minimum of 2 innings in the field. (Bat whole roster)
p. There will be a 7 run limit per inning with the exception of the last inning in which teams will be allowed to score as many runs as possible. Remember, you can beat a team; but there is no need to humiliate them
q. There will be a 10 run mercy rule after 4 ½ innings
r. There will be unlimited substitution, players may be taken out and put back in the field any time
s. In order to allow more innings to be played the following are in effect:
1. The next ½ inning will begin one minute after the last one ends
2. There will be a mandatory courtesy runner for the catcher with 2 outs. The runner shall be the batter that made the last out.
t. Protective headgear must be worn by all batters, base runners, and the catcher. Penalty for deliberately removing helmet: player is out. Mask and helmet must be worn by any player warming up a pitcher anywhere in the park
u. Any person who, in the umpire's judgment DELIBERATELY THROWS A BAT (either on the ground or in the air) will be ejected from the game.
v. No metal spikes will be allowed, however some type of shoes must be worn.
w. Adults are allowed to coach the bases provided there is an adult on the bench to keep players under control. Any player coaching the bases must wear protective helmets.
x. Tie games will be played until either team wins or darkness is declared by the umpires
y. REMEMBER the game is played for the fun and enjoyment of the children. Almost all trouble during games are traceable to an adult. Adults should encourage, not hinder, good clean baseball and good sportsmanship. The actions of all participants, including parents and specters, must be above reproach. Any offending player may be ejected from the game and any offending non-player may be requested to leave the area.
